We accept online payment in a s ecure environment by most major credit/debit cards (except AMEX). If you prefer we can take your details over the telephone on 01292 475075.
All prices are in £ sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. (Our VAT No.717 2686 19)
A contract between the customer and The Shoe Gallery for the sale of goods will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched. Your credit/debit card will only be charged when your goods are despatched.
Your goods will be despatched using a fully traceable and insured method of delivery. We use Royal mail, Parceline and Business Post. It is our aim to dispatch your goods within 2 working days.
DURING THE INTENDED POSTAL STRIKE ALL GOODS WILL BE DISPATCHED BY INTERLINK EXPRESS COURIERS ON A NEXT WORKING DAY SERVICE AND NOT WITH ROYAL MAIL AS STATED ABOVE.
If you feel it is still more convenient to have your parcel sent will Royal Mail please call us on 01292 475075 and we will make arrangements to ship outwith your item on days outwith proposed strike action.
If for some reason an item ordered is out of stock, we will contact you immediately to arrange a back order or cancellation. In the case of a back order, your credit/debit card will not be charged until goods are dispatched.
A standard shipping cost of £3.50 will be charged on all orders to the UK and Channel Islands, £5 to the rest of the EU. However, if your order is excessively heavy, we may have to make an extra charge. Should this be the case, we will contact you first to advise you of the shipping cost before putting your order through.

If you wish to return an item purchased from our website please inform by telephone (01292 475075) us within 7 working days from the date you received the goods. We will then confirm the returns procedure and issue you with a returns number and our Returns Department address. Do not return goods before receiving our confirmation instructions.
Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt and the goods must be in original condition, unused and re-saleable. Once we are satisfied with the condition of the return, the full purchase price will be refunded. Original postage charges are not refundable and the customer will be responsible for all costs associated with the return shipment.
We carefully check all our orders before shipping to ensure we offer the best possible service. However, if your goods are faulty please follow the same procedure as above. Once we are satisfied that a fault exists we will refund the origianl cost plus all reasonable postage and packing costs.
Can only be returned if there is a fault with the item. An exchange of size/goods or a credit note will be offered.
Your right to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
